Iplan collaborates with the Barcelona City Council in this new project by Ada Colau: modifying school streets to make them a safer place for the kids.

The project will consist of creating a square in front of 200 schools in the city to reduce pollution, noise and accidents

These will be marked as a school zone and will be reduced to one lane where cars will not be allowed to circulate at more than 20 kilometers per hour. With the space gained from the road, a safe leisure space for children will be built. In the images we can see how this initiative has been carried out at the Grevol school, the first of many.
